Homebound was founded after the 2017 Tubbs Fire in Northern California, where over 6,000 homes were lost — including one of our founders’. In the aftermath, a team of homebuilders and technologists joined forces to create a next-generation homebuilder powered by technology, bringing transparency, efficiency, and a better experience to every step of the process. What began as a mission to help families rebuild after devastating wildfires has grown into a full-service solution for semi-custom homebuilding — from insurance and permitting to design, construction, and move-in. To date, we’ve delivered over $500M in homes across California, Colorado, Texas, and Florida. Now, we’ve launched in Altadena and the Palisades to do what we do best: rebuild resilient communities with efficiency, transparency, and care.
