Homebound’s mission is to be the best home builder on the planet, and we know it takes incredible partners to make that a reality. Whether you are a community developer, land broker, or something in between - this is the place to start. Let’s build something great together.
Geoff Hackett
Sr. Director, Construction
(707) 244-1101, ext. 4
ghackett@homebound.com
The son of a finish carpenter, Geoff’s love for building started at a young age while apprenticing for his father in New England. Looking to understand the construction process from another perspective, he pursued an education in architecture in Boston. Upon graduation, Geoff moved to Los Angeles in search of warm weather and an architectural scene courageous enough to push design boundaries and take risks.
After his time with a design/build contractor, Geoff set out on his own in June of 2011 to start a contracting company with a unique vision—combine a strong knowledge of design with a focus on collaborative problem solving to tackle architecturally challenging and sophisticated construction projects. Geoff now has a reputation for helping clients achieve beautiful spaces with his rare combination of design sensibility and construction knowledge. He prides himself on the great relationships that he has built with each one of his clients and project design teams and is not interested in just executing a design, but elevating it to its highest potential.
Geoff was trained as an architect and holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.

Our team has dozens of years in residential construction, across products of all shapes, sizes, and budgets. We recognize that, in construction, product development means different things to different teams. Our partnerships team is designed to be flexible, whether it’s collaboration on architecture and design, owning schedule management, or servicing the entire build through to sale.
